This transportation system consists of podcars , pod buses and pod trains.


Podcar has two units the pod and the Drive Cart unit.

The Pod is a demountable cabin incorporating inner features of the normal cars including seats, driving and control

panels, entertainment systems, luggage compartment etc. The Pods can be made in many models with different number of seats and features suitable for users of different tastes, preferences and driving conditions.

The Drive unit are Carts with chassis, motor, wheels, lights, steering, brake and the rest of the parts a normal car has for driving.  Adding to those, the Drive unit has the interface required to be controlled for driving and mounting operations. The Drive units are public.  The users can choose the drive units suitable to the road and destination in different seasons.



The Pods are private.  Mounted on a Drive Cart, people will drive, sitting inside their pods from home to stations.  The pods are demounted from driving carts and placed, automatically, on the buses or trains that can carry several pods. At the end stations the pods are mounted on other driving carts and passengers will drive them to the destination.



With this transport system, the passengers can enjoy the privacy of their pods and benefits of public transport.   They will enjoy the flexibility of being able to travel longer distances and have access to more remote places in the privacy of their own pod.

This system maintains the environmental and cost advantages of public transport, adding the savings relating to optimised use of private pods.
